I started photography when I was 16 and photographed my first wedding at 17. I loved weddings from the beginning. While still pursuing photography, I got a bachelors in advertising art direction. Along the way, I grew a love for branding, but discovered that advertising was not my passion. Once I figured this out, I began only taking on weddings and that is when my business truly became what it is today.
In five years, I hope to have a baby (but don't tell my parents, they are hoping that is in my 2 year timeline). While being a mom, I intend to continue pursuing photography and weddings more specifically. I would also love to build my own wedding venue. I'm always dreaming up ideas for a place that has the perfect lighting in all circumstances.
When I'm not working, you can find me on Google Flights. Because my hobby turned into a "job" so early on, I decided to make traveling my hobby. I love finding a good deal on international flights and then subsequently planning the entire trip on an excel sheet. I've yet to learn how to vacation, but I definitely have figured out the whole traveling thing.
I AM VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT
Getting my work published. It's free advertising to a large market! I have been published in Style Me Pretty, Harper's Bizarre online, Magnolia Rouge, 100 Layer Cake, Laurenconrad.com, Grey Likes Weddings, The White Wren, Joywed, Bajan Wed, Utah Valley Bride, The Hybrid Atelier, and Utah Bride Blog.
ONE THING I'LL NEVER DO AGAIN IS
Travel without my husband. I always think it's a good idea until I get there and realize life without him is so incredibly boring. Also shooting extended families. Did it once. Never again.
